In 2002, in Plessis-Robinson, Isabelle Poulain organized a festival around Babar; this included an exhibition and a conference about Jean de Brunhoff (creator of Babar) and Francis Poulenc, a recital, and a drawing competition involving six schools.
"In the great forest a little elephant is born. His name is Babar. His mother loves him very much. She soothes him to sleep with her trunk, singing softly ...”
By combining a storyteller, a pianist, and children’s imagination depicted through their drawings projected on a cinema screen, Isabelle has created a show of great originality.
