Isabelle Poulain and her musical partner, the baritone Guy Bonfiglio, perform the melodies and lyrics of French composers and poets. Together they have given recitals at the Academy Francis Poulenc at the invitation of François Leroux, also in Slovaquia at Bratislava as part of the “French Spring“, and were invited by Stéphane Goldet to perform on Radio France Musique.
Their repertoire ranges from Gounod to Poulenc including Debussy, Fauré, Duparc, and others less well known such as Rosenthal, Caplet, Vellones…
Through their songs they evince the words of French poets such as Eluard, Verlaine, Baudelaire, Hugo, Villon….
